Glass mineral wool floor insulation
URSA TSP 20 mm Glass Mineral Wool Floor Insulation
Thermal and impact-sound insulation for floating floors.
URSA TSP 20 mm is a non-combustible glass mineral wool board for floating floors that limits heat loss and impact-sound transfer between storeys. The boards are laid beneath the reinforced screed and floor covering, so the finished floor "floats" on the resilient insulation layer. Each board measures 600×1000 mm and covers 0.6 m².
Impact-sound insulation for floating floors
URSA TSP separates the screed and floor covering from the load-bearing structure and absorbs impact noise from footsteps and moving furniture. The resilient glass mineral wool delivers acoustic comfort for the rooms below. It is ideal for residential floors with a floating screed.
Low thermal conductivity for a warmer floor
A thermal conductivity of λD = 0.032 W/mK limits heat loss through the floor and improves the home's energy efficiency. URSA TSP helps keep the floor warmer and cuts heating costs.
Non-combustible material rated A2-s1
URSA TSP is classified A2-s1 to EN 13501-1 — effectively non-combustible with minimal smoke release. This raises the fire safety of the floor build-up without extra measures.
