KNAUF Fire-Resistant Plasterboard Type DF (GKF) 1200/2000/12.5 mm
Glass-fibre reinforced core for interior structures with fire protection requirements.
The KNAUF type DF (GKF) fire-resistant plasterboard measures 1200 x 2000 mm at 12.5 mm thickness and is intended for partition walls, wall linings and suspended ceilings where fire protection is required. One board covers 2.4 sq m and is cut and fixed with standard drywall tools, with the familiar red stamp on the reverse side identifying the type.
Type DF core to EN 520
The gypsum core contains glass fibres that hold the board together under fire exposure. Reaction to fire is classified A2-s1,d0 to EN 13501-1.
Partitions, linings and suspended ceilings
The board is fixed to CW/UW and CD/UD metal framing, including roof spaces and stairwell areas with fire requirements. It combines directly with KNAUF profiles, adhesive and fasteners from the same system.

The 1200 x 2000 mm format is easier to carry and lift than a long sheet when working in narrow corridors and small rooms. A pallet holds 60 boards.
