A 1200 x 2000 mm sheet one person can carry and fit single-handed in a room of standard height.
KNAUF A13 (GKB) is a standard type A plasterboard to EN 520, 12.5 mm thick, for partition walls, wall linings and suspended ceilings in rooms with normal humidity. One sheet covers 2.4 m² and is cut with a utility knife along a scored line, no power tools needed. Reaction to fire class is A2-s1,d0.
Two-metre format for solo handling
The shorter 2000 mm length at 22.08 kg makes carrying up stairs and turning in narrow hallways noticeably easier than with 2600 or 3000 mm boards. The format also suits ceilings of standard height, where trimming every sheet lengthwise is no longer necessary.
Gypsum core in a paper facing to EN 520
The board has a white paper face ready for jointing and direct painting or wallpapering. Its A2-s1,d0 reaction to fire class allows use in systems with fire safety requirements.
For dry rooms: partitions, linings, ceilings
The standard type A board mounts on CW and UW studs for partitions, on a CD/UD grid for suspended ceilings, or is bonded directly to masonry with Perlfix gypsum adhesive. For bathrooms and wet areas, use an impregnated type H board instead.
