The KNAUF VIDIWALL gypsum fibre board in 1000/1500/10 mm is a dense panel of calcined gypsum reinforced with cellulose fibres through its full thickness. One board covers 1.5 m² and fixes to metal or timber framing. It suits interior walls, ceilings and the reinforcement of floor build-ups.
Cellulose fibre reinforcement through the whole section
The panel is homogeneous throughout, with no cardboard facing: the fibres come from selected recycled paper and are mixed into the calcined gypsum. Edges and openings stay stable when cut and when screws are driven in.
Class A2-s1, d0 to EN 13501-1
The material is virtually non-combustible, with minimal smoke production and no flaming droplets. The board type is GF-W2 to DIN EN 15283-2.
1000 x 1500 mm format for solo handling
The compact sheet fits through narrow staircases and can be positioned single-handed on ceilings and short wall runs. Cutting produces less waste around niches, shafts and parapet areas.
Drywall work in kitchens and bathrooms
The boards are used across all areas of drywall construction, including rooms with raised humidity. They fix to timber or metal framing, with joints made using Vidiwall Fugenkleber adhesive and SN gypsum fibre screws.
Reinforcing Brio dry screed floors
The manufacturer also specifies the 1Mann 10 version as an additional layer over Brio 18 dry screed. For that build-up the instructions in the Knauf F12 detail sheet apply.
