KNAUF A10 (GKB) plasterboard, 9.5 mm thick, is a standard Type A board to EN 520 for interior work. The 1200 x 2000 mm sheet covers 2.4 m² and stays easy for one person to carry and fit. Typical uses: wall and ceiling linings on metal or timber framing, dry linings, partition walls and suspended ceilings.
Fire reaction class A2-s1, d0
The gypsum core is non-combustible and produces virtually no smoke in a fire. The board carries CE marking and is subject to continuous factory production control to EN 520.
6.1 kg/m²: a lighter load for suspended ceilings
One sheet weighs about 14.65 kg, so it can be lifted overhead without a second pair of hands. The lower dead load also eases the suspended framing on ceiling work.
Bending to a radius for arches and curves
Dry bending works down to a 2 m radius; after wetting, the sheet follows a radius of just 0.5 m. At 9.5 mm it also takes V-groove folding for decorative details, wardrobe interiors and pitched-roof linings.
Dimensionally stable as room conditions change
A 1% change in relative humidity moves the board only 0.005–0.008 mm/m, and squareness tolerance is within 2.5 mm per metre of width. Joints stay closed once filled and painted.
