Impregnated gypsum core for bathrooms, kitchens and laundry rooms, in a one-man-handling format.
KNAUF H13 moisture-resistant plasterboard (type H2 to EN 520) is the green impregnated board for partition walls, wall linings and suspended ceilings in damp rooms. Each sheet measures 1200 x 2000 mm at 12.5 mm thickness and covers 2.4 m². It cuts with standard drywall tools and mounts onto CW/UW or CD/UD metal framing.
Impregnated core for damp rooms
The gypsum core is treated against water absorption and the green liner board is the standard signal colour for this board type. It withstands short-term relative humidity of up to 95%, the level typical of a home bathroom or kitchen after use.
1200 x 2000 mm format for solo handling
At 23.04 kg a sheet can be carried and lifted up a staircase by one person, unlike the tall 2600 and 3000 mm boards. The two-metre length covers a standard bathroom wall lining height with minimal cutting.
Fire reaction class A2-s1,d0
The board is classified to EN 13501-1 in the top class for non-combustible gypsum-core building products. The s1 and d0 ratings stand for minimal smoke emission and no flaming droplets.
Substrate for tiles and waterproofing
The impregnated surface accepts jointing compound, damp-room paint and ceramic tiles. In areas with direct water contact Knauf recommends combining the board with a waterproofing system such as Flächendicht.
