URSA TECTONIC UPh/Vv Glass Mineral Wool Board
Rigid A1 fire-rated boards for thermal and acoustic insulation of ceilings and walls.
URSA TECTONIC UPh/Vv is a rigid glass mineral wool board made with the patented TECTONIC technology and faced on one side with a white glass veil. The boards are water-repellent and non-combustible (class A1), with a thermal conductivity of λD = 0.036 W/mK. They suit unloaded ceilings and walls in garages, workshops and cellars, as well as acoustic treatment of halls and classrooms.
Class A1 non-combustible material for fire safety
URSA TECTONIC UPh/Vv is rated non-combustible class A1 under EN 13501-1, the top reaction-to-fire level. This makes the boards well suited to spaces with fire-safety requirements such as garages, cellars and technical areas.
Thermal insulation at λD = 0.036 W/mK to save energy
URSA TECTONIC UPh/Vv boards deliver a thermal conductivity of λD = 0.036 W/mK per EN 13162, providing efficient ceiling insulation. For garage ceilings a thickness of 8 to 10 cm is recommended for the best balance of cost and energy efficiency.
Excellent sound absorption for acoustic comfort
With a sound absorption coefficient of aw = 0.8–0.9 and airflow resistance of r > 10 kPa·s/m², URSA TECTONIC UPh/Vv improves room acoustics. The boards serve as an absorbing lining in halls, classrooms, cinemas and office spaces.
White glass veil and high strength for a clean finish
URSA TECTONIC UPh/Vv is faced on one side with a white glass veil that gives a modern look with no extra finishing. The water-repellent TECTONIC structure provides high compressive strength and impact resistance, while installation stays quick and easy.
