Glass mineral wool insulation
URSA DF 40 Glass Mineral Wool, 50 mm
Non-combustible A1-class lightweight insulation felt for thermal and acoustic protection of roofs and ceilings.
URSA DF 40 glass mineral wool is a lightweight insulation felt for non-load-bearing structures — roofs, top-floor floors, ceilings and construction cavities. It combines thermal insulation with a λD = 0.040 W/mK conductivity and sound insulation. One pack covers 15.6 m² of insulation area.
Non-combustible A1-class wool for fire safety
URSA DF 40 is rated fire class A1 under BDS EN 13501-1 — the highest fire-safety level, meaning the material does not burn or feed a flame. It withstands a service temperature up to 200°C, making it a safe choice for roof and ceiling structures.
Thermal and acoustic insulation with λD 0.040 W/mK
URSA DF 40 achieves a thermal conductivity of λD = 0.040 W/mK and a thermal resistance RD = 1.25 m²K/W at 50 mm thickness — keeping warmth inside in winter and coolness in summer. Its fibrous structure also absorbs noise for a quieter home.
Lightweight felt compressed 1:5 for easy installation
URSA DF 40 is a lightweight felt compressed at a 1:5 ratio that recovers its volume once unpacked and fits tightly between rafters. The pack holds 4 sheets measuring 600x6500 mm and covers 15.6 m² of non-load-bearing roofs, ceilings and construction cavities.
