Foil-faced lamella insulation for pipes, boilers and ventilation ducts.
URSA LAMELLA (URSA TECH LAMELLA) is a glass mineral wool insulation faced on one side with aluminium foil, made for technical thermal and acoustic insulation. Its lamella structure has fibres running perpendicular to the surface, so it wraps easily around pipes and curved surfaces. Supplied as a 10 m² roll, it suits pipework, boilers, tanks, vessels and ventilation ducts.
Lamella structure that wraps around pipes
URSA LAMELLA has fibres set perpendicular to the surface, giving the mat flexibility along its length. That lets it hug pipework, boilers and rounded tanks without breaking the insulation line. One roll covers 10 m² at 20 mm thickness.
Aluminium foil as vapour barrier and reflector
URSA LAMELLA is faced on one side with aluminium foil reinforced with glass fibres. The foil reflects heat and forms a protective finish on the exposed side of the installation. The faced side withstands temperatures up to 80 °C.
Non-combustible wool with high temperature resistance
URSA LAMELLA is fire class A2 to BS EN 13501-1 — effectively non-combustible. It handles a maximum service temperature of 260 °C, making it suitable for hot pipework and boiler installations.
