URSA SF 38 Glass Mineral Wool Roof Insulation, 100 mm

Self-supporting felt that fits between the rafters with no extra fixing needed.

URSA SF 38 is a glass mineral wool roll for roofs — an elastic, self-supporting felt for thermal and acoustic insulation of pitched roofs and drywall systems. It springs into place between the rafters and holds itself, so no additional fixing is required. One pack covers 6.6 m² at 100 mm thickness.

Self-supporting felt that needs no extra fixing

URSA SF 38 is elastic and self-supporting — it expands between the rafters and stays in place on its own. This speeds up pitched-roof installation and works on both sloped and vertical sections.

Marking lines for easy cutting to width

The URSA SF 38 felt is marked on one side with two parallel lines that make cutting to the clear spacing between rafters easier. The result is a more precise fit and less waste.

Non-combustible A1 fire-rated insulation

URSA SF 38 is classified as non-combustible — Euroclass A1 to EN 13501-1, the top reaction-to-fire rating. Glass mineral wool holds back flames and emits little smoke, making it suitable for structures with fire-safety requirements.

Thermal and acoustic insulation for pitched roofs and drywall

URSA SF 38 is used for thermal and sound insulation of pitched roofs — between and beneath the rafters — as well as top-floor ceilings, timber-frame walls and sandwich panels. With a thermal conductivity of 0.038 W/mK, the wool limits heat loss in winter and overheating in summer.
