A flexible stone wool board combining thermal, acoustic and A1 fire protection in one.
FIBRAN FIBRANgeo B-030 stone wool is a flexible insulation board with a density of 30 kg/m³, made from molten rock spun into fibres. Each pack holds 10 sheets sized 600 x 1200 mm and covers 7.2 m² at a 50 mm thickness. The board insulates against heat, dampens noise and resists fire at the same time, ideal for partition walls, suspended ceilings and roof structures.
Low thermal conductivity for a warmer home
FIBRANgeo B-030 stone wool delivers a declared thermal conductivity of λD 0.034 W/(m·K), keeping warmth in during winter and heat out during summer. Its horizontally interlaced fibres provide lasting insulation without sagging. Use it in walls, ceilings and roofs to cut heating costs.
Non-combustible A1 material
FIBRANgeo B-030 is rated non-combustible, with a Euroclass A1 reaction to fire under EN 13501-1, while its fibres withstand a melting point above 1000 °C. The stone wool does not feed flames and raises the fire safety of the structure. It suits fire protection of partition walls and ceilings.
Sound insulation with absorption class A
The open fibrous structure of FIBRANgeo B-030 absorbs sound with a coefficient of αw 0.95 (class A for a 50 mm board), reducing intrusive noise between rooms. The material performs excellently in lightweight partition walls and suspended ceilings. The result is a quieter, calmer home or office.
Easy to cut, fit and breathable walls
The flexible FIBRANgeo B-030 boards are light, cut easily with a knife and fit quickly between profiles and joists.
