FIBRAN BP ETICS 100mm Facade Stone Wool

Thermal insulation, sound reduction and fire protection for facades in one rigid board

FIBRAN BP ETICS 100mm facade stone wool is a rigid insulation board for external walls, designed for External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems (ETICS). It is made from molten volcanic rock spun into fibres – a non-combustible, durable material. The board is applied over masonry, concrete, brick or stone in new builds and when renovating existing buildings.

Low thermal conductivity for a warmer home

FIBRAN BP ETICS stone wool has a thermal conductivity of 0.035 W/mK, which minimises thermal bridging across the facade. The result is lower heating costs in winter and cooling costs in summer. The 100mm board keeps a steady thermal comfort in the interior space.

Non-combustible fibres protect the facade from fire

The fibres of FIBRAN BP ETICS withstand temperatures above 1000 °C while keeping their shape and insulating properties. This lets the stone wool act as a fire barrier across external walls. It suits residential, public and industrial buildings alike.

Sound reduction and lasting protection of the building envelope

As a non-load-bearing covering layer, FIBRAN BP ETICS improves the sound insulation of facade walls. The board does not overload the structure and shields it from ageing, erosion and temperature swings. It can be applied to vertical, horizontal (bay) and inclined surfaces.

Practical pack size for facade areas

One pack of FIBRAN BP ETICS holds 3 boards sized 600x1000 mm and covers 1.8 m² of facade. The boards pair with FIBRANgeo CAPS caps placed over the dowel heads to eliminate thermal bridges. This optimises the application of the finishing layer.
