HUNIGER powder against poultry mites (item 229892) is a natural kieselguhr-based dust used against chicken lice and red mites in domestic poultry. The 55 g pack treats around 12 hens and can be applied to the birds themselves as well as inside the coop, on perches and in nest boxes.
Contact action with no chemicals
The dust acts mechanically the moment the parasites come into contact with it, killing them within three days to one or two weeks depending on how heavy the infestation is. The formula contains no chemicals and is non-toxic to people, animals and the environment.
