HUNIGER bed bug powder is a natural, non-calcined bioactive silica dust applied directly to surfaces where bed bugs are active. The 55 g pack treats up to 20 m², enough for a bedroom with bed, skirting boards and furniture, and it is non-toxic to people, pets and the environment.
Physical action that pests cannot adapt to
The milled silica particles cut through the insects' outer layer and dry them out. On contact, bed bugs die within 3 days to 1–2 weeks depending on infestation levels. No chemicals are involved, so there is no waiting period after treatment.
Apply into cracks, along skirting boards and under mattresses
The powder can be dusted, brushed or sprayed into hiding places: furniture cracks, floors, cornices, under appliances, around doors and wall panelling. After treating a mattress, always cover it with a sheet. Recommended schedule: at least 3 applications, 10 days apart.
Works outdoors too, on dry surfaces
The dust only works while dry, so outdoors it should be reapplied after rain. Besides bed bugs, the manufacturer lists use against mites, fleas, poultry lice, ticks, ants and cockroaches.
