HUNIGER cockroach powder is a 100% natural dust you apply straight into the cracks and hiding spots where roaches live: kitchen units, basements and entry points. It works on contact in two ways, abrading the insect's outer shell and then drying the body out. It reaches larvae as well as adults and can be used indoors and outdoors.
Dual contact action, chemical free
The microscopically sharp particles score the insect's exoskeleton, after which it loses body moisture. The manufacturer states that pests die within 3 days to 1–2 weeks depending on how heavy the infestation is. There are no chemicals in the formula and no lingering smell indoors.
Apply in thin 10 mm bands
Lay a barrier along wall perimeters, behind and under kitchen appliances, around cabinets and window sills. For cracks and rough surfaces work the dust in with a dry flat brush and keep the layer thin so insects walk through it rather than around it. A minimum of three applications, 10 days apart, is recommended.
Suitable outdoors and on carpets
Outdoors, treat door frames, drain pipes and house walls, and repeat after heavy rain. On carpets, dust a small amount over the fibres, leave it for 2–3 days and vacuum it up. Wear a mask while applying so the fine dust is not inhaled.
Beyond roaches: mites, fleas, bedbugs, ants
The same dust is used against mites, fleas, bedbugs, poultry mites, ticks and ants, so one pack covers the house and its surroundings. The packaging is plastic free.
