The ANSELL AlphaTec 1800 protective coverall in size XL (item 239416) is a limited-use CE Category III garment classified as Type 5 and Type 6. It suits plant and machinery maintenance, powder handling, sanding, spray painting and cleaning work, and comes individually packed.
Type 5/6 protection from fine particulates and light spray
The CE Category III classification covers work with powdered materials and low-hazard liquid spray. The fabric is a microporous polyethylene laminate that keeps particles on the outside of the garment.
Breathable 53 gsm fabric against heat stress
The laminate is moisture vapour permeable, which limits overheating during long shifts. The low garment weight is noticeable when working overhead or bending frequently.
Anti-static, silicone-free build for spray painting
Anti-static performance is tested to EN 1149-5 and AATCC 76. The silicone-free construction prevents defects in fresh paint, while low linting reduces the risk of cross contamination in critical areas.
Three-piece hood, two-way zipper and elasticated edges
The three-piece hood follows the shape of the head, including when a respirator is worn. The two-way front zipper closes under a resealable storm flap, and elastication at the hood, waist, wrists and ankles keeps the garment close to the body.
