The VEKTOR UNIVERSAL window insect screen kit is a DIY set for building a mosquito screen to fit your own window. It covers openings up to 1500 mm high and 750 mm wide, and includes the mesh, the sealing cord and all the hardware you need.
Frame cut to fit openings up to 1500 x 750 mm
The aluminium profiles are shortened to the measured opening, so the kit also suits non standard windows, including bathroom and attic openings. Assembly relies on external plastic corner pieces and needs no special tools.
Complete kit: mesh, sealing cord and hardware
Inside you get four profiles, four corners, insect mesh, a rubber sealing cord with 30–35 cm spare, two hinges, a snap catch, a handle and self tapping screws. A roller tool for pressing the cord into the profile channel is included as well.
Hinged or fixed mounting, your choice
The hinges, snap catch and handle let you build an opening screen that keeps the outer glass accessible. The same frame can also be fitted as a fixed panel, and it lifts out easily for winter storage.
