A complete DIY package: aluminium frame, mesh and hardware in one box.
The VEKTOR UNIVERSAL window insect screen kit is a DIY system for window openings up to 750 mm wide and 1500 mm high. The aluminium profiles are cut to the exact opening, and the screen can be built as a hinged or a fixed panel.
Frame cut to your window's exact size
The 1.7 x 2.5 cm aluminium profiles are shortened with a hacksaw to match the opening and joined with external plastic corners. One kit therefore covers any window up to 75 x 150 cm, from bedrooms to bathrooms and loft windows.
Hinged or fixed installation
Two hinges, a snap catch and a handle let the panel swing open from the outside. Where outside access is not needed, the same profiles can be fitted as a fixed panel, and the screen comes off for winter storage.
Mesh, rubber gasket and fitting roller included
The grey mesh is pressed into the frame channel with a rubber gasket, supplied with 30 to 35 cm of spare length. The fitting roller is included, so all you add is a hacksaw, a utility knife and a screwdriver.
