A complete DIY set: aluminium frame, mesh, hinges and fixings for a screen cut to your window.
The VEKTOR UNIVERSAL window insect screen kit (item 465600) contains everything needed to build a hinged or fixed screen for openings up to 1500 mm high and 750 mm wide. The aluminium profiles are cut to your exact window size and joined with external plastic corners, no special tools required.
Frame cut to your own window size
The 1.7 x 2.5 cm aluminium profiles are shortened to the exact opening, while the four external corners keep the frame square. Suits room, bathroom and attic windows alike.
Hinged or fixed installation, your choice
Two plastic hinges, a snap catch and a handle let you build an openable screen that swings aside and lifts off for cleaning. For a fixed version the frame is simply screwed to the window casing with the supplied self-tapping screws.
Grey mesh, rubber gasket and fitting roller included
The mesh is locked into the frame channel by a rubber gasket supplied with a 30–35 cm surplus, so there is room for adjustment. The roller tool for pressing the gasket in place comes with the kit.
