The OSRAM OJS020 BATTERYjumpstart 1000 is a lithium jump starter for 12 V cars, vans, SUVs and light commercial vehicles. It doubles as a power bank for phones and tablets via its USB C and USB A ports, has a built-in torch and recharges over USB-C with PD 30W fast charging.

1000 A peak current for engines up to 5 l

Cranking current is 250 A with a 1000 A peak, enough for most 12 V petrol and diesel cars. The Boost function also works on batteries that have dropped to 0 V, when a normal jump start is no longer possible.

Smart clamps with longer cables

The ergonomic smart clamp unit uses longer cables, so it reaches batteries mounted deep in the engine bay or in the boot. Reverse polarity, anti-spike and short circuit protection are signalled by an audible alert and LED indicators.

8000 mAh power bank with USB C and USB A

The lithium-ion cell powers a phone, sat nav or tablet straight from the glovebox. PD30W works both ways: the unit recharges in about 2 hours and delivers fast charging to mobile devices.
