The HD HD-9347 retractable awning shades a 300x200 cm area over a patio, balcony or entrance. Its frame combines aluminium and galvanised steel, while the 280 g polyester fabric carries a water-resistant coating. A hand crank opens and closes it, and the mounting brackets are included.
Torsion bar that absorbs wind load
The steel bar takes up the tension from the folding arms and spreads it across the whole structure. The arms stay taut and the fabric does not sag when a breeze picks up.
280 g fabric with water-resistant coating
The polyester carries a PA coating that blocks UV rays and copes with light rain. For prolonged downpours the maker recommends refreshing it with a waterproofing spray.
Left-hand crank operation
The crank unwinds smoothly and stops at any intermediate position, so the projection ranges from 20 cm to the full 200 cm depending on the sun. No power supply is needed at the mounting point.
Wall or ceiling installation
The supplied brackets allow both options, which helps with low eaves or narrow balconies. Before drilling, check the height, pitch and load capacity of the base: the unit weighs 20 kg.
