BICAP AKIRA S1PS FO SR Safety Shoes, Size 40, Suede, Beige

Low-cut safety shoes with a sporty fit for full shifts on slippery or oil-stained floors.

The BICAP AKIRA S1PS FO SR safety shoes in size 40 are low-cut suede work shoes certified to EN ISO 20345:2022. The S1PS class combines a 200 J impact-resistant toe cap, a non-metallic penetration-resistant insert, antistatic properties and heel energy absorption. FO and SR add outsole resistance to fuel oils and slip testing on ceramic tile with glycerine.

Toe cap rated to 200 J impact

The forged-aluminium BI-ALLOY protector also withstands 15 kN compression, stays non-magnetic and weighs less than steel. Toes remain protected when a tool or load drops on site or in the warehouse.

Non-metallic PS penetration insert against nails

The flexible BI-SAFE PS textile insert is tested with a Ø 3 mm nail under the newer zero-perforation method and covers more area than a steel plate. The shoe stays flexible underfoot and does not conduct cold through the sole.

Dual-density PU outsole with BI-SHANK stabiliser

Two polyurethane layers absorb impact with every step, while the BI-SHANK system limits twisting on uneven ground. The BI-BALANCED TPU heel stabiliser keeps the foot steady during frequent bending and stair climbing.

Perforated suede and BI-FRESH PLUS lining for warm months

The upper is perforated suede leather and the three-dimensional breathable lining moves moisture away from the foot. The anatomic DAMPER PRO footbed uses PU foam with antibacterial fabric and extra heel cushioning.

For construction, logistics and vehicle workshops

These shoes are Category II personal protective equipment for workplaces with impact, compression and penetration risks. The outsole is tested for contact with fuels and oils, covering requirements in workshops and production halls. The antistatic properties of class S1PS are not an ESD certification.
