The BICAP AKIRA S1PS FO SR is a low safety shoe in size 45, made in Italy to EN ISO 20345:2022. Perforated breathable suede leather forms the upper, while protection comes from a BI-ALLOY aluminium toe cap and a textile anti puncture insert covering the whole sole area. It suits construction, automotive, logistics and workshop work.

BI-ALLOY aluminium toe cap rated to 200 J

The press forged aluminium cap uses around 56% recycled content and is non magnetic, which helps around sensitive equipment. It weighs less than a steel cap, and the toe guard band keeps the upper intact after impacts.

Full sole coverage against punctures

The BI-SAFE textile plate is metal free and covers more of the footbed than a steel plate, edges included. Tested with a 3 mm nail to EN ISO 22568-4:2021 it withstands over 1110 N, and it stays flexible enough for a natural stride.

Dual density BI-GRIP PU sole against slips and oils

The tread keeps grip on wet floors, and the FO rating means the compound does not swell or break down in contact with fuel and oils. Inside sit a BI-SHANK stabilising shank and a resilient anti shock insert that spread impact away from joints and back.

Breathable suede upper with BI-FRESH PLUS 3D lining

Perforations across the suede let air through and keep the shoe drier through warm months. The 3D polyester lining resists abrasion and limits odour build up, while the open cell PU DAMPER PRO footbed cushions the heel and carries an antibacterial fabric.

BI-BALANCED heel stabilising system

A TPU element wraps the heel externally and reduces the risk of rolling an ankle on uneven ground, scaffolding or broken surfaces. The last is Mondopoint 11 for a regular width foot, with the model offered from size 36 to 48.
