The BICAP AKIRA S1PS FO SR safety work shoes are low-cut footwear certified to EN ISO 20345:2022, with a BI-ALLOY aluminium toe cap and a non-metallic BI-SAFE anti-penetration insert. The upper is perforated suede leather and the outsole is dual-density BI-GRIP PU. This listing is size 44 in beige.

Aluminium toe cap rated to 200 J

The BI-ALLOY toe cap is non-magnetic and made with roughly 56% recycled aluminium, so it weighs noticeably less than steel at the same level of toe protection. A wrap-over band protects the upper from scuffing.

Non-metallic BI-SAFE penetration protection

The textile insert covers the entire footbed, including the areas a steel plate cannot reach. Tested with a 3 mm nail to EN ISO 22568-4:2021, it withstands over 1110 N. It stays flexible and does not conduct cold.

Breathable suede upper for warm conditions

Perforations across the upper let air through, while the three-dimensional BI-FRESH PLUS polyester lining wicks moisture and resists abrasion. Together they limit odour build-up during long wear.

BI-BALANCED heel stabiliser

A TPU element cradles the heel and reduces the risk of ankle roll on uneven ground. The BI-SHANK stabiliser in the sole supports the arch, and a resilient PU insert absorbs impact when walking or lifting.

BI-GRIP outsole, oil and slip resistant

The dual-density polyurethane does not swell on contact with fuels and oils and keeps its mechanical properties (FO marking). The tread pattern is designed for grip on wet and smooth floors (SR). The shoes are antistatic with energy absorption in the heel area.
