The BICAP AKIRA S1PS FO SR low safety shoes in size 41 pair a sporty look with certified protection to EN ISO 20345:2022. The S1PS FO SR rating combines an aluminium toe cap, a non-metallic anti-puncture insert, a fuel- and oil-resistant sole and a slip-resistant tread. They suit construction, automotive, logistics and trade work.

BI-ALLOY aluminium toe cap rated to 200 J

The toe cap is non-magnetic and made with roughly 56% recycled aluminium, so it weighs noticeably less than a steel cap at the same protection level. An extra strip over the toes shields the forefoot from crushing.

BI-SAFE non-metallic puncture protection across the whole footprint

The textile insert is tested with a 3 mm nail and withstands more than 1110 N to EN ISO 22568-4:2021. Unlike a steel plate it covers the sole area without blind spots and stays flexible as you walk.

Perforated suede upper with BI-FRESH PLUS lining

The perforated upper breathes actively, while the three-dimensional polyester lining wicks moisture and resists abrasion. Together they keep odour build-up down during long wear in warm weather.

BI-GRIP dual-density PU outsole with slip-resistant tread

The FO rating means the sole will not swell or degrade on contact with oils and fuels. The tread holds on wet floors, while the BI-SHANK stabiliser and resilient anti-shock insert spread out impact with every step.

BI-BALANCED heel stabilising system

A TPU element wraps the heel and cuts the risk of ankle twists on uneven ground and building sites. The DAMPER PRO open-cell PU footbed absorbs heel impact and carries an antibacterial fabric top.
