3M 4515 Protective Coverall, Size XL, Type 5/6
Breathable SMS fabric with a covered two-way zipper for dusty, particle-heavy jobs.
The 3M 4515 protective coverall in size XL is a single-use garment certified to Type 5 for airborne solid particulates and Type 6 for light liquid splash. It is made from 50 g/m² SMS polypropylene with elasticated waist, ankles and wrists, plus a two-panel hood that zips to the chin. Size XL fits 179–187 cm height and a 108–115 cm chest.
Type 5/6 protection from dust and light splash
Certification covers EN ISO 13982-1 for airborne solid particulates and EN 13034 for limited liquid splash, with Class 1 to EN 1073-2 against radioactive particulates. It suits asbestos inspection, sanding, insulation work and site preparation.
Breathable 50 g/m² SMS polypropylene
The fabric sandwiches a filtering melt-blown layer between two softer spun-bond layers. Warm air escapes from the inside to cut heat build-up during long shifts, and the low-linting surface suits clean-area work too.
Two-way zipper with storm flap
The zipper opens from both ends and the storm flap seals over it to stop particles entering along the closure. Donning and removal stay quick without spoiling the fit.
Elastic waist, wrists and ankles
Elastication keeps the garment in place, while the roomier cut across arms and legs allows bending, ladder work and overhead tasks. The low-profile two-panel hood is shaped to sit with a respirator and safety goggles.
Single use and storage
The coverall is not washed, ironed or reused: replace it when damaged or heavily contaminated. Store it in the original packaging between -20 °C and +25 °C at under 80% humidity, away from direct sunlight. It contains no silicone or natural rubber latex.
