The ELDOM DU080W-W Galant 80 flat water heater pairs two enamelled tanks holding 65 l with electronic control and Wi-Fi. It mounts vertically or horizontally, with the water and electrical connections on the left side. Made in Bulgaria by ELDOMINVEST.
POWERFUL mode runs both heating elements at once
The two immersed copper elements (2.1 kW and 1.2 kW) work together or separately. At 3.3 kW this is the highest output offered in the flat water heater class. Half an hour gives you around 35 l of hot water, enough for a 5-minute shower at a 6 l/min flow.
Wi-Fi control and SMART self-learning
The mobile app lets you set the temperature, schedule programmes and check the unit from anywhere. SMART mode logs a week of hot water use and then times the heating to the household's habits, in line with Regulation (EU) 814/2013 and EN 50440.
Weekly timer for the night tariff
The SUPER SAVINGS mode shifts heating into the cheaper night hours. You get date and time settings, a Holiday mode for delayed start, and a countdown timer with a "ready for a bath" indication.
SHIELD zirconium enamel and four anodes
The tank coating stands up to hot water, and cathodic protection uses two anodes per tank, four in total, covering the whole usable volume. The Anti-Legionella function kills Legionella bacteria in the water.
6-level protection and IP24
Protection covers a redesigned flange on each tank against overpressure, a combined metal safety valve, a capillary thermal cut-out and anti-freeze protection. Real-time self-diagnostics reports faults, while the colour display rotates its image to match the mounting position.
