The DEWALT DCMPS520N-XJ is an 18V XR cordless mini chainsaw built for pruning branches, shaping trees and cutting firewood. Supplied as a bare tool without battery or charger, it runs on any DEWALT 18V XR battery pack. At 2 kg with a 20 cm bar, it handles comfortably in one hand and overhead.

8.6 m/s chain speed for fast cuts in green wood

A brushless motor drives a 3/8" half-chisel chain that bites aggressively into fresh timber. The drive link gauge is 1.1 mm, and replacement bars and chains for this model are available separately.

2 kg weight for one-handed overhead work

The compact body stays controllable when you prune branches overhead or inside a canopy, where a full-size saw is awkward. A saw of this weight also works from a ladder or platform without tiring your arm over a run of cuts.

Compatible with every DEWALT 18V XR battery

Bought as a bare tool, the saw runs on the 18V XR packs you already own — no extra charger and no new battery platform in the workshop. Battery and charger are not included.

Automatic chain lubrication with a 55 ml reservoir

Oil feeds to the chain during operation, protecting bar and cutters through longer pruning sessions. The filler port sits on top, so topping up needs no cover removal.
