The DEWALT DCD796D2-QW 18V cordless hammer drill driver is a professional XR Li-Ion tool with a brushless motor and three modes: screwdriving, drilling and hammer drilling. The kit ships with two 2.0 Ah batteries and a charger, ready to work straight away.
Brushless motor with 460 W power output
With no carbon brushes there is no fastest-wearing part to replace, and transmission losses drop. On intensive installation work that translates into more holes drilled and more fasteners driven per charge.
Hammer drilling in masonry and concrete up to 13 mm
A mode selector moves from screwdriving to rotary drilling and hammer action without swapping tools. Capacity reaches 40 mm in timber and 13 mm in steel.
15 torque settings for controlled screwdriving
The adjustment collar caps the force to suit the material, protecting screw heads from stripping and surfaces from dents. The two-speed metal gearbox gives control when driving and speed when drilling.
Compact body for tight spaces
At 1.2 kg without a battery, the drill stays manageable during long overhead sessions and between drywall studs. The rubberised grip holds securely even with damp hands.
Compatible with the DEWALT 18V XR Li-Ion platform
The supplied 2.0 Ah packs also run other 18V XR tools, and larger batteries from the system fit this drill without an adapter. The included charger is a multi-voltage unit.
