The DEWALT DCD796D2-QW 18V cordless combi drill is a compact professional tool from the XR Li-Ion range, built around a brushless motor with three modes: driving, drilling and hammer drilling into masonry. The kit ships with two 2.0Ah batteries and a charger, so you can start working straight away. It handles assembly, repairs and drilling across a wide range of materials.
Brushless motor for longer life and more work per charge
The brushless motor of the DEWALT DCD796D2 has no carbon brushes to wear out, extending tool life and boosting efficiency. Lower losses mean more holes drilled and more screws driven per charge. It is an ideal choice for intensive professional use.
Hammer mode for drilling into masonry and concrete
The hammer mode adds up to 34,000 blows per minute and drills masonry and concrete up to 13 mm in diameter. Combined with wood drilling up to 40 mm and metal up to 13 mm, the DCD796D2 covers almost any job on site. One tool for many materials means fewer tool changes.
15-position torque control for precise driving
The adjustable collar with 15 torque positions limits driving force and protects both the screw and the workpiece from damage. A maximum torque of 70 Nm handles even large fasteners. The two-speed all-metal transmission (0-550 and 0-2000 rpm) gives control when driving and speed when drilling.
Compact, lightweight body for tight spaces
At only around 1.2 kg without a battery, the DCD796D2 is light and comfortable for prolonged overhead work or in tight corners. The rubber-overmoulded grip improves hold and reduces fatigue. Its compact size makes it easy to reach where larger tools cannot.
