SONAX Lock De-Icer (item no. 03310000) is a 50 ml bottle for thawing and maintaining frozen locks on your car and around the house. Beyond melting the ice inside the cylinder, it displaces water, lubricates the mechanism and protects it from rust and moisture without gumming up.
Thaws a frozen lock in seconds
Apply a few drops straight into the cylinder, wait briefly and open the lock with the key. Repeat the application if the ice is stubborn.
Lubricates and guards against rust and refreezing
The formula pushes water out of the mechanism and leaves a thin lubricating film that will not gum up or stiffen the key action. Used before the first frost, it keeps the cylinder dry and free-moving.
