V-shaped tread for grip on snow and slush
Numerous tread blocks with a high density of sipes bite into packed snow when pulling away and braking. The rubber compound stays pliable even in severe cold, so the tyre keeps its grip on the coldest mornings.
Water evacuation against aquaplaning
An optimised number and density of grooves channel water and slush away from the contact patch. Transverse channels with a special angled design help the tyre stay in touch with the road on wet surfaces.
Silica compound for lower fuel consumption
A new silica compound reduces rolling resistance, helping keep fuel consumption in check through the winter season. External rolling noise on the EU label is 68 dB.
