V-shaped tread and dense sipes for grip on snow, slush and wet roads
The RIKEN Snow 195/65 R15 is a passenger car winter tyre made by TIGAR TIRES. With load index 91 (up to 615 kg per tyre) and speed rating H (up to 210 km/h), it fits one of the most common sizes on compact and mid-size cars.
V-shaped tread for grip on snow and slush
Numerous tread blocks with a high sipe density bite into packed snow when pulling away and braking. The tyre carries both the M+S and 3PMSF markings, the latter certifying tested snow performance.
Compound that stays supple in the cold
The rubber compound keeps its flexibility even at very low temperatures. The tread stays in contact with the road on cold mornings when the surface is icy or covered in slush.
Grooves that fight aquaplaning
An optimised number and density of grooves, combined with specially angled lateral channels, clear water and slush from under the tyre. Wet grip is rated C on the EU tyre label.
Silica compound for lower fuel consumption
The new silica compound reduces rolling resistance. The tyre is rated D for fuel efficiency on the EU label.
