Bosch C70 12/24 V 10 A Battery Charger
One charger for car, camper, boat and truck batteries, with a supply mode that keeps vehicle settings during a battery swap
The Bosch C70 is an automatic charger for 12 V and 24 V lead-acid batteries, including EFB, AGM, gel, open and VRLA types. It handles 12 V batteries from 14 to 300 Ah and 24 V batteries from 14 to 120 Ah, and you pick the mode with a single button.
Seven modes for 12 V and 24 V batteries
In the 12 V modes the charging current is 10 A. For 24 V truck batteries it is 5 A. The charger works out on its own whether the battery is 12 V or 24 V and switches to the right mode within 1 to 3 minutes, so you never have to set the voltage manually.
Winter and AGM charging mode
For batteries at 0 to 4 °C, and for AGM types, the charger raises the charging voltage to 14.7 V on 12 V batteries and 29.4 V on 24 V batteries. That lets you bring a battery to full charge even in cold weather.
Keeps the vehicle powered during a battery swap
Connected to the vehicle-side battery terminals, the charger supplies 13.6 V at 5 A to the electronics while the battery is out. The car's settings stay intact, so there is nothing to reprogram after the swap.
Maintenance charging and battery regeneration
Once the battery is full, the charger switches to maintenance charging at up to 800 mA. This suits campers, boats and classic cars that sit unused over winter. The regeneration mode works at 16.5 V and 1.5 A and is meant for 12 V batteries after a brief deep discharge. When a battery is heavily discharged, the charger switches to pulse charging on its own.
IP65 housing with protection against wrong connection
The housing is rated IP65 against dust and water. If the clamps are reversed, a dedicated LED lights up and charging does not start. When the charger overheats it lowers the current on its own, and a 40 A fuse on the cable trips if there is a short circuit. After a power cut, the memory function resumes charging in the last mode you selected.
