BOSCH C30 Battery Charger, 6 V / 12 V, 1.2–120 Ah
Five charging modes and trickle maintenance for your motorcycle, car or boat during the off-season
The BOSCH C30 battery charger charges and maintains 6 V and 12 V lead-acid batteries, including AGM, EFB, GEL and SLI types, in scooters, motorcycles, cars and motorboats. Single-button control keeps it simple, while the built-in microprocessor adjusts the current to the battery's condition.
Dedicated modes for motorcycle, car and AGM
Small batteries from 1.2 to 14 Ah get a 6 V mode and a 12 V motorcycle mode, both at 0.8 A. Car batteries from 14 to 120 Ah charge at 3.8 A. A separate Winter/AGM mode delivers 14.7 V for AGM batteries and for charging in cold conditions.
Regeneration mode for deeply discharged batteries
Slow pulse charging at 1.5 A gradually brings a deeply discharged battery back. Once the battery is full, the charger switches to trickle mode on its own and holds it at 100%. That makes it a good fit for vehicles that sit unused for months.
Automatic battery detection and mode memory
The charger detects the type of battery you connect. If it can't tell straight away, it pulse-charges gently for 1–3 minutes and then picks the right mode. It also remembers the last mode used and carries on in that mode after a brief power cut. You can still set the mode by hand when needed.
Protection against reverse polarity, sparks and short circuits
If the clamps are connected the wrong way round, charging won't start and the LED indicator flags the error. Charging begins 5 seconds after connection, so no sparks fly. Overheating, overcurrent and short-circuit protection are built in, and the housing is rated IP65 against dust and water splashes.
Supplied with a movable hook and storage bag
Besides the charger, the box contains a movable hook for hanging it up while it works, a storage bag, a mains cable and a charging cable with detachable clamps. The packaging is plastic-free. Optional accessories include the 0189999110HFT terminal and the 0189999270HFT ring-terminal DC cables.
