HUNIGER Colorado Potato Beetle Powder 55 g is a natural powder treatment for potatoes and other vegetable crops. Dust it directly on the foliage or mix it with water and spray, either as prevention or once beetles have appeared. One 55 g sachet covers roughly 20 m² of planting.

100% diatomite — mechanical action, no chemicals

HUNIGER powder is made entirely of non-calcined diatomite with an amorphous silica structure, a mineral formed from fossilised single-cell algae. The milled particles abrade the insect's outer shell so the pest dies of dehydration, with no chemical active ingredient involved.

Spray or dust, whichever suits the garden

Mix the sachet into 2 litres of water and spray the plants from the bottom upwards so the undersides of the leaves are coated as well. Repeat every 3 to 5 days, or apply the powder dry directly onto the foliage.

Works when dry — reapply after rain

HUNIGER diatomite is active once dry, so the treatment is renewed after rainfall. When sprayed, the water only carries the powder; as it evaporates a protective layer stays on the leaves.
