Acoustic Wall Panel Volcano Oak
The KRONO ORIGINAL Volcano Oak acoustic wall panel combines melamine-faced MDF slats with a PES felt backing in a 2600 x 600 x 17 mm format. It tames reverberation in a room while giving the wall a warm oak finish, and it mounts straight onto a flat wall or onto timber battens.
Felt backing that absorbs reverberation
The slats sit on a PES textile backing, and the air channels between them soak up part of the reflected sound. The difference is most noticeable in living rooms with large glazing, home offices and TV corners.
Volcano Oak decor with melamine surface
The slat faces carry a melamine surface that resists stains and UV fading. Upkeep is a wipe with a well wrung-out damp cloth, nothing more.
Mounts on the wall or on battens
Fix the panel directly to a flat wall, or screw it to timber battens when the substrate is uneven. Trim the length with a saw and line up neighbouring panels so the joint stays invisible.
Quantity planning: 1.56 m² per panel
The 2600 mm height covers a standard room in one piece, with no horizontal joints. A wall 3 m wide and 2.6 m high takes five panels.
