MODULO NATIMUR MIX BLACK Natural Marble Wall Cladding, 40x10 cm, 0.47 m² per box
Frost-resistant marble for a statement wall indoors or on the façade, fitted without grout joints.
MODULO NATIMUR MIX BLACK is a natural marble wall cladding in dark grey tones with silver and graphite veining, approved for both indoor and outdoor use. The tiles butt together for a groutless, continuous stone surface, and one box covers 0.47 m². As with any quarried stone, shade and texture vary from piece to piece.
Quarried marble, no two walls alike
This is genuine quarried marble rather than a printed lookalike, so each piece carries its own shade and relief. Mixing tiles from several boxes before fitting spreads the dark grey tones evenly across the wall. Thickness runs from 0.8 to 1.2 cm, which sharpens the play of light over the surface.
Groutless fitting for an unbroken stone plane
The tiles are bonded edge to edge, so there is no grouting stage at all. The substrate must be flat, dry, sound and free of dust, paint or grease. The 40x10 cm format courses up quickly, and cuts are made with an angle grinder fitted with a diamond blade.
Frost-resistant for façades, fences and plinths
Rated frost-resistant, the cladding can be taken outside onto walls, fences and garden masonry. The backing wall needs protection against moisture, and a coping or drip flashing above the clad area keeps water from running behind the tiles. Direct contact with the soil should be avoided.
Class A1 fire reaction, heat tolerance to 110 °C
The stone is non-combustible to EN 13501-1. The NATIMUR range withstands surface temperatures of 90 to 110 °C and is among the products recommended for cladding a fireplace, provided the firebox is properly insulated and a high-temperature adhesive is used.
Adhesive and protective spray, dosed per box
For outdoor work the maker specifies a flexible cement adhesive of class C2S1, such as MODULO Colle Extra Flex, at 2.5 kg per box of tiles. One MODULO protective spray covers 19 boxes and limits moisture uptake and staining on the marble. Clean with pH-neutral products only, never abrasives or a pressure washer.
