Ceresit CS 28 is a one-component elastic heat-resistant silicone sealant for joints and connections exposed to high temperatures. It performs across a range from -65°C to +260°C, with short peaks up to +315°C, and stays permanently flexible once cured. It is ideal for ovens, chimneys, heating and ventilation units, pumps and engines.
Heat resistance up to +315°C
Ceresit CS 28 keeps its properties across a wide temperature range, making it a reliable choice around ovens, chimneys and heating appliances. The seal will not crack and stays tight under sustained thermal loads.
Strong adhesion to metal, glass and ceramics
The Ceresit CS 28 sealant bonds well to clean metal, glass, ceramics, natural and synthetic fibres, and many painted and plastic surfaces. It adheres to most non-porous substrates without a primer, which speeds up the job.
Waterproof and permanently elastic
After curing, Ceresit CS 28 remains permanently elastic and waterproof, so the joint absorbs movement without tearing. The sealant is oil-resistant, which makes it suitable for pumps and engines.
Resistant to ozone, UV and ageing
Ceresit CS 28 withstands ozone, ultraviolet radiation and ageing, so the seal stays dependable even outdoors. It applies easily with a caulking gun and is smoothed with a damp tool.
