Tile adhesive
ISOMAT AK-20 Flexible Tile Adhesive, Grey 25 kg
Premium flexible tile adhesive with zero slip for all tile types, indoors and outdoors.
ISOMAT AK-20 is a premium flexible cement-based tile adhesive in a 25 kg grey bag. Classified as C2 TE S1 to EN 12004, it bonds all tile types, porcelain and natural stone on walls and floors. It suits demanding indoor and outdoor jobs that need high adhesion, flexibility and water resistance.
Flexible C2 TE S1 polymer-cement adhesive
ISOMAT AK-20 is a modified cement-based polymer adhesive with high initial and final bond strength. Its C2 TE S1 rating to EN 12004 ensures deformability and a reliable bond even when the substrate moves. The adhesive absorbs deformations above 2.5 mm to EN 12004-2, making it ideal for floors exposed to temperature changes and over old coverings.
Zero slip and extended open time
ISOMAT AK-20 does not slip on vertical surfaces, with a slip of ≤ 0.5 mm. Its extended open time gives at least 30 minutes for application and 30 minutes to adjust the tiles. The pot life is a minimum of 6 hours, so you can cover large areas without rushing.
High water resistance and temperature stability
ISOMAT AK-20 offers high water resistance and keeps its properties across a temperature range of -30ºC to +90ºC. Bond strength reaches ≥ 1.80 N/mm² at 28 days and stays ≥ 1.30 N/mm² after water immersion. This makes the adhesive well suited to bathrooms, terraces, balconies and outdoor cladding.
For all tile types and large-format coverings
ISOMAT AK-20 bonds absorbent and non-absorbent tiles, porcelain (grès porcellanato), natural stone, decorative brick and large-format tiles. It is applied at up to 15 mm thickness with a consumption of 1.5–4.0 kg/m². The working temperature is +5ºC to +35ºC, and grouting is possible after 3–8 h on walls and 24 h on floors.
