Neutral silicone that bonds without primer on almost any surface and resists mould.
Ceresit CS 26 is a one-component neutral (alkoxy-type) silicone sealant in a 300 ml cartridge, ready to seal joints in wet rooms and along facades. It contains fungicides against mould growth and bonds without a primer to ceramics, glass, metal, wood and many plastics. The transparent finish stays smooth and glossy to blend with modern bathroom fittings.
Neutral alkoxy silicone that won't corrode metals
Ceresit CS 26 is a neutral alkoxy silicone with only a faint odour while curing and no corrosive effect on metals. That makes it safe for joints around aluminium, zinc and copper, where acidic silicones would attack the surface.
Strong adhesion with no priming
Ceresit CS 26 grips firmly without a primer on ceramics, enamel, glass, metal, wood (even painted), PVC, PC, PMMA and concrete. It skips the priming step and is even suitable for mounting mirrors.
Mould- and moisture-resistant for wet rooms
Its fungicide content makes Ceresit CS 26 resistant to mould and moisture — ideal for joints around baths, sinks and showers. It also suits facade joints where mould can form.
UV and weather resistance for outdoor joints
Ceresit CS 26 is highly resistant to weathering, ozone, UV rays and ageing, while 25% elastic movement absorbs joint expansion. That keeps it reliable both indoors and outdoors.
Easy application and smoothing
After applying, spray the joint with soapy water and smooth it with a suitable tool for a clean, glossy finish. Remove any masking tape before a skin forms on the surface.
