AGRO Seeding & Propagation Substrate 20 L is a purpose-made growing medium for raising flower, vegetable and herb seedlings and for rooting cuttings. Its fine texture and low nutrient content give young plants exactly the conditions they need in their first weeks.

Even germination thanks to the fine texture

The AGRO seeding substrate is a fine blend of peat and sand that wraps closely around small seeds. Moisture reaches every seed evenly, so seedlings emerge uniformly with no gaps in the tray.

Low nutrient content for delicate young roots

Young roots do not tolerate heavily fertilised soil. The substrate carries a reduced nutrient level so cuttings can form roots undisturbed; once seedlings emerge or cuttings root, you can start feeding with liquid fertiliser.

Loose, airy sowing mix

The sand in the mix keeps it loose and airy, so water does not stagnate around fragile stems. The substrate holds moisture until the seedlings are ready to be pricked out into pots.

Use for seedlings, herbs and rooting cuttings

Fill seed trays or small pots with the substrate, sow the seeds or insert the cuttings and water moderately. The 20 L bag covers a whole batch of trays when pre-growing flowers and vegetables.
