Heating elements sealed in copper tubes, away from the water: built for hard, limescale-rich supply.
The ELDOM WVY08039FD from the Style Dry range is a vertical storage water heater with an 80 L class tank and 75 L of usable water. Two dry 1200 W elements sit inside copper tubes and can be replaced without draining the tank. At 38.7 cm in diameter it fits narrow bathrooms and utility corners.
Dry tubular elements for hard water
Each element is housed in a copper tube enamelled together with the flange, so it never touches the water. Limescale cannot build up on the element and heat transfer stays consistent over the years. Replacing an element does not require draining the tank.
Six-level protection with two magnesium anodes
The enamelled tank is guarded by a cathodic system with two magnesium anodes, backed by ELDOM's Shield technology against corrosion. A combined metal safety valve is supplied, and a capillary thermal cut-out disconnects the power in case of overheating. Ingress protection is rated IP24 against moisture and knocks.
HFO Closed Cells insulation, energy class C
The closed-cell polyurethane insulation holds the temperature between heating cycles and cuts standby losses. Declared annual energy consumption is 1337 kWh for household use.
Twin switch: run one element or both
Each element has its own switch, and the red illuminated rocker confirms it is working. Use one element for a single shower or both, for a combined 2.4 kW, when the whole household needs hot water. An external capillary thermostat and the redesigned temperature indicator show what the tank has reached.
White matt body, 387 mm diameter
The slim 1125 mm tall shell holds 75 L of water and leaves room around the pipework above a washing machine or inside a recess. Empty weight is 25.5 kg and mounting is vertical, on the wall. Anti-freeze protection keeps the unit safe in unheated rooms and holiday homes.
