The BOSCH TR4001T 80 is a vertical electric storage water heater with a usable capacity of 80 L and single-phase power supply. It suits a family bathroom where hot water is drawn several times a day. A thermostat handles temperature control, while the tank interior is protected by a glass-ceramic enamel layer.
80 litres of hot water for bath and kitchen
That volume covers a shower routine plus washing-up without waiting in between. Vertical wall mounting keeps the footprint narrow, with a body diameter of just 45 cm.
Glass-ceramic tank with anode protection
The enamel lining separates the steel from the water and limits corrosion in hard-water areas. A magnesium anode takes the electrochemical load, and the built-in anode tester shows when it needs replacing without dismantling the unit.
Stainless steel heating element with thermoceramic coating
The ceramic layer over the element reduces limescale build-up on its surface and keeps heat transfer steady over the years. The 2 kW rating runs off a standard single-phase 230 V circuit.
Thermostat and B energy class
Temperature is set on the thermostat and held automatically, so you can dial it down over the summer months. Declared annual energy consumption is 1314 kWh.
