A twin-tank design delivers hot water for the first shower in half the heat-up time.
The BOSCH TR5501iT 120 EBP electric water heater from the Tronic 5500i T range is controlled remotely through the HomeCom Easy app and mounts either vertically or horizontally. At 31.6 cm deep, the slim body fits into a niche or a cabinet, while the electronic thermostat holds the set temperature up to 75 °C. Praktiker lists the item with a 60-month warranty.
Wi-Fi control via HomeCom Easy
The app shows energy use and how much hot water is currently ready for a shower. With Time Program you schedule daily or weekly heat-up cycles around your household routine.
Twin tank for a fast first shower
Heating is split between two chambers, so water for one shower is ready long before the full cycle ends. Usable volume is 93 l of a 120 l nominal capacity, enough for a family bathroom.
Four operating modes plus Boost
SMART, ECO, manual and programmed modes are selected via the touch keys and the 7-segment symbol display. In SMART, an adaptive algorithm learns your usage habits, while Boost raises the temperature as fast as possible before guests or an evening bath.
Multi-position mounting in tight spaces
A universal mounting plate lets you replace an older unit, including other brands, without drilling new holes in the tiles. A light ring shifts from blue to red as the water temperature climbs.
Thermo-ceramic lining and magnesium anode
The tank carries a thermo-ceramic lining and the heating element is stainless steel with a thermo-ceramic coating. A magnesium anode takes on corrosion, while automatic disinfection and frost protection run without any input from you.
