BARDAHL XTC 10W40 is a semi-synthetic engine oil in a 5 L container for passenger cars and light commercial engines. It meets ACEA A3/B4 and API SN/CF and works year-round, including under demanding operating conditions.
Stable viscosity from cold start
The pour point is -39 °C and the viscosity index is 152. The oil reaches the moving parts within the first seconds after start-up, when most engine wear occurs.
Protection against wear, oxidation and corrosion
The formulation limits deposit and sludge build-up and keeps internal oil channels clean. A TBN of 10.3 mgKOH/g neutralises acidic combustion by-products between drain intervals.
OEM approvals for broad application
The manufacturer declares BMW Longlife-98, MB 229.1 and VW 501.01 / 505.00 performance levels. Always check the requirement in your vehicle's service manual before topping up or changing the oil.
Low volatility for lower oil consumption
The oil resists evaporation at high operating temperatures, which reduces top-ups between service intervals. The 5 L pack covers a full oil change on most passenger cars.
