Semi-synthetic oil engineered for the high soot load of diesel engines.

LIQUI MOLY Diesel Leichtlauf 10W-40 in the 5 L canister is a semi-synthetic, year-round motor oil for passenger-car diesel engines, with or without a turbocharger. Its additive package keeps soot in suspension and limits oil thickening, while the 10W-40 viscosity covers all seasons. It suits modern TDI and common-rail engines without a diesel particulate filter.

Protection against soot-induced thickening

Diesel engines load their oil with soot, which makes it thicken. LIQUI MOLY Diesel Leichtlauf 10W-40 keeps those particles in suspension, so the oil stays fluid and the engine stays clean between services.

Instant lubrication after a cold start

With a pour point of -36 °C, the oil reaches the engine and turbocharger quickly on winter starts. That cuts wear exactly in the first seconds, when it is highest.

The oil carries ACEA A3/B4, MB-Approval 229.3 and VW 505 00 — check what your service book requires. LIQUI MOLY also recommends it for vehicles calling for MB 229.1, PSA B71 2294 or Renault RN 0710.

Diesel Leichtlauf 10W-40 is tested for turbocharger operation and handles extended drain intervals under heavy engine duty. High shear stability holds the viscosity within the 10W-40 grade even after long mileage.
