Semi-synthetic 10W-40 oil built to handle the high soot load of diesel engines.
LIQUI MOLY Diesel Leichtlauf 10W-40 engine oil comes in a 1 L canister and is a semi-synthetic oil for passenger-car diesel engines, with or without turbocharger and charge air cooler. The 1 L size suits both top-ups between services and finishing off a full oil change. The oil is miscible with all commercially available motor oils.
Keeps diesel soot in suspension
Diesel Leichtlauf 10W-40 is formulated for the high soot load typical of diesel engines. The oil keeps the particles in suspension and resists soot-induced thickening, so the engine stays clean between oil changes.
Instant lubrication after a cold start
The 10W-40 viscosity grade and a pour point of -36 °C help the oil reach the bearings and the turbocharger within the first revolutions of a cold engine. That cuts wear at the most critical moment of every drive.
ACEA A3/B4, MB 229.3 and VW 505 00 approvals
The oil carries ACEA A3/B4, MB-Approval 229.3 and VW 505 00 approvals, and LIQUI MOLY also recommends it where MB 229.1, PSA B71 2294 or Renault RN 0710 is specified. Check your vehicle handbook for the required specification before topping up.
For TDI and common-rail turbo diesels
Diesel Leichtlauf 10W-40 is intended for modern passenger-car diesels — naturally aspirated, TDI and common rail, with or without charge air cooling. The oil is tested for turbocharger compatibility and is designed for year-round use in vehicles without a diesel particulate filter.
