LIQUI MOLY MoS2 Leichtlauf 10W-40 is a semi-synthetic multigrade engine oil in a 5-litre canister for petrol and diesel engines, with or without a turbocharger. It carries molybdenum disulphide (MoS2), a solid lubricant that coats every rubbing metal surface. ACEA A3/B4 and API SL ratings show which engines the manufacturer recommends it for.
MoS2 film on sliding surfaces for lasting wear protection
The molybdenum disulphide in MoS2 Leichtlauf 10W-40 builds a high-load lubricating film across all rubbing and sliding metal parts. The engine stays protected exactly when loads peak — and the MoS2 is what gives this oil its typical grey colour.
Instant lubrication after a cold start
The oil reaches the lubrication points quickly at start-up and keeps friction low on the move — the start and warm-up phase is the hardest on any engine. LIQUI MOLY states good cold-start behaviour and viscosity that stays stable over time.
