LIQUI MOLY MoS2 Leichtlauf 10W-40 is a semi-synthetic, all-year engine oil for petrol and diesel engines, including turbocharged units. The 1 L canister is the handy size for topping up between oil changes, and the oil is tested safe for turbochargers and catalytic converters. It is recommended for vehicles without a soot particle filter.
MoS2 (molybdenum disulphide) for extra wear protection
The MoS2 solid lubricant in this LIQUI MOLY oil deposits a load-bearing film on every rubbing and sliding metal surface. That film keeps carrying the load even in the moments before oil pressure has reached every part of the engine.
Instant lubrication after a cold start
The 10W-40 grade delivers oil quickly at low temperatures, exactly during the warm-up phase when wear is highest. MoS2 Leichtlauf also keeps its protective reserve in short city trips and stop-and-go traffic.
ACEA A3/B4 and API SL specifications for petrol and diesel
LIQUI MOLY recommends this oil for vehicles requiring ACEA A3, ACEA B4, API SL or API CF. Always check the vehicle and engine manufacturer's manual before topping up or changing the oil.
Engine cleanliness over long oil-change intervals
A high additive content keeps the engine clean and stays stable against ageing — important for long drain intervals and demanding operating conditions. The grey-black colour of the oil comes from the MoS2 and is normal for this product.
