The STIHL RM 253.3 is a push petrol lawn mower with an EVC 205.0 four-stroke engine and a 51 cm cutting width, built for medium-sized to large lawns of up to 1800 m². It comes as standard with a multi-blade, mulching insert and side discharge, and collects clippings in a 55 L grass box with a level indicator. Cutting height is set centrally across 7 steps from 20 to 100 mm.

The EVC 205.0 engine is a four-stroke unit with 127 cc displacement and 1.8 kW rated output. Its easy-start system gives reliable pull-starting from both cold and warm.
Cutting, collecting, mulching and side discharge
Multi-blade, mulching insert and side discharge are all included as standard. Clippings either go into the box or straight back onto the lawn, depending on the season and how tall the grass has grown.
55 L grass box with level indicator
Airflow during mowing packs the box tightly so its full capacity is used, while side louvres direct air towards the ground and cut down on swirling dust. The box opens for fast, tool-free emptying.
Central 7-step cutting height adjustment, 20–100 mm
A scale on the housing shows the current setting, so the same height is easy to repeat at every mow. The soft-grip comfort handlebar adjusts for height, damps vibration and folds via Quick-Fix connectors for compact storage.
Polymer housing resistant to petrol and UV
The high-grade polymer housing protects the engine block and keeps the machine light to push and lift. Smooth-running profiled wheels help hold a straight line and turn easily around trees and paths.
